Description

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of endogenous growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) consisting of the full 44 amino acid sequence of native GHRH with a trans-3-hexenoic acid group added at the N-terminus to enhance stability. Research has focused on its role in stimulating pituitary growth hormone secretion and its effects on IGF-1 levels and lipid metabolism. It is among the most studied full-length GHRH analogues and is supplied in lyophilised form for research purposes.
