Description

Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide consisting of four amino acids (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly), derived from the naturally occurring polypeptide Epithalamin produced by the pineal gland. Research has focused on its role in telomerase activation, telomere elongation, and regulation of the neuroendocrine system. It is among the most widely studied peptides in longevity and ageing research, with studies examining its effects on cell cycle regulation and oxidative stress pathways. It is supplied in lyophilised form for research purposes.
